Location
30 km north of Uralla, 40km west of Armidale, about midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the Northern Tablelands. Elevation ranges mostly from 740m to about 800m, with a hill in the south at about 900 metres above sea-level.
Country, Soils & Pastures
“Myanba” has mostly trap soils, with some fine granite. Most of the property is undulating to flat, with some open timbered country in the south being a little steeper.
Production & Water Security
Current management is backgrounding steers for the northern market. The property has successfully run breeding cattle and also fi ne wool merinos in the past. Pastures are mostly improved native. There are about 370 hectares of country that is mostly arable / cropable in the northern area. 26 dams, a small creek and a trough system keep the stock watered.
Homesteads
The main, c.1890’s “Myanbah” homestead has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. A sunroom has been a welcome addition. Cooking is gas. The manager’s home is a beautiful local brick building, built over 100 years ago. It has a wonderful outlook across the valley.

Operational Infrastructure
“Myanba” has a 5 stand woolshed in very good order; 3,000 sheep can be undercover at one time.
Cattle yards are currently being refurbished. There is a large hay shed and also a 6-bay machinery shed. Fencing is in good order throughout the property. Three laneways assist with stock movements around the 24 paddocks. All boundary fencing is less than 5 years old.

“Myanba” is a sound property. Arable area for cropping, in addition to the more extensive grazing makes for production security. Located on the western side of the Tablelands, the climate is milder than nearby Armidale, making for comfortable living conditions.
